It is a good project which i think aimed for lighting at rural areas, my concern is
1. How the rural people manage to get the lighting, is it that they have to buy or there is another means to facilitate them?
2. Which part of the country are you based now?
3. I am running a security company can i provide Security services at your offices or field?

this mail is directed to Solomon to say congratulations on your venture and to say thank you for giving us positive hope that there are Africans who are innovative enough with a sense of Patriotism to develop products that would best serve the needs of our people..

I am a private business man who had pioneered his one business aviation services in Nigeria and has interests in various other areas such as e commerce and mobile money , public relations and strategic planning.

I believe your product offering and the potential of it's practical application in a power starved country like Nigeria would have very positive impact on the lives of the ordinary people.

I would love to explore the possibility of working with you. Please let me know if you would consider this offer of cooperation..

Good luck and please keep the African dream alive..

Hi Carmela,

apologies for the confusion! Our EGG stands for "Engineering Global Growth" and although it also echoes the ressemblance of the lamps we use with eggs, we don't use eggs at all to make energy or electricity.

I'm not quite sure how you would use eggs to make electricity, but that definitely sounds like an interesting project. Good luck!

Hi Alex, thanks for your interest. We currently have one solar charging station in Msanga, and are looking to increase our solar capacity at other sites. We are also interested in wind power, but have not yet set up any wind-powered stations. The Msanga solar franchise is described in two blog posts, one on July 24th, and the second on November 3rd.

EGG has an interesting concept, do you use another form than the grid to charge batteries? Solar? Wind?
